Using the template below, develop an individualised plan for the client. The plans should address the client’s needs, identify goals, resources and key stakeholders. Case Study :Jed is 18 years old and has just left school. He lives at home with his mum and dad and is an only child. Jed has global developmental delay caused by birth asphyxiation. He has difficulties with gross motor skills (walking, running, balance), fine motor skills (using hands/fingers to eat, draw, write), cognitive development (ability to learn, reasoning, remembering), social/emotional development (interacting with others) and speech/language development. Jed’s speech is limited to a few key words and phrases, with the remainder of his speech consisting of idiosyncratic language that he has developed for himself. Jed is tall and solidly built and although he is a sociable person, he prefers the company of 1or2 people rather than groups. Jed quickly becomes frustrated when his needs are not met, other people cannot communicate effectively with him and when he is bored. When frustrated Jed displays behaviours of concern where he runs at people trying to knock them over, stands over people using his size, shouts in a loud aggressive voice and damages property in the vicinity to where he is. When running Jed often falls and becomes so angry, he physically lashes at anyone nearby. Jed does not like noisy, crowded environments and once he becomes agitated it takes a considerable amount of time for him to calm down.
