Description

Research can often cross ethical lines. In some cases, patients are provided the information needed to consent to be part of a research study but still may not fully understand the scope or risks involved. Our training in ethics and legal aspects of healthcare suggests this may be where the gray area of research comes into play. To further explore the ethical aspects of the research process you will complete an activity through the Department of Health and Human Services.

By the end of this assignment you should be able to:

  1. Describe the role of the healthcare administrator in the research process
  2. Comprehend ethical principles critical to conducting research on human subjects.

  5. Throughout the video take detailed notes on the template. You will also define several key terms.

  7. At the end of the video, you will be presented with a list where you answered accurately and sections you completed accurately. Please screenshot this page and include the image on your word document template that you will submit.

  9. Once you have completed the revision, please take a screenshot of your complete page which should now have all checkmarks.
  10. Complete the template by inserting your “Key Take-aways” from the video on “The Research Clinic”. You should include the FIVE most important things you learned about the research process during the video.
