Nutrients and Foods
Description
We have reviewed calorie balance, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, water, vitamins and minerals. Each of these nutrients can be consumed in very healthy foods and foods that you want to eat in moderation.
Instructions:
- In this reflection, write a two foods that you consume for each nutrient.
- The first food will contain the nutrient and will be a healthy, nutrient dense food.
- The second food will contain the nutrient, but will be a food that is not nutrient dense. You will have a total of 12 foods (2 for each nutrient)
Example: Carbohydrate: raspberries, lollipop
