Her past medical history was clear. This morning, Ms Moley’s Glasgow Coma Scale is 3/15 and her vital signs were all normal. Her Arterial Blood Gas results are: pH = 7.33; PO2 = 95mmHg; PCO2 = 48mmHg; BE = 0.5 and HCO3 = 19.2mmHg. She has a central venous catheter on her right femoral artery and this provided access to her infusions which included (i) Propofol infusion, (ii) Dopamine Infusion(inotrope); the Adrenaline Infusion(inotrope) and the (iv) Normal Saline.
