Mr. /Ms. Medi Sin is a middle-aged male/female who was brought to… Mr. /Ms. Medi Sin is a middle-aged male/female who was brought to the Emergency Department by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) after complaining of chest pain, indigestion, and heartburn which has been going on for several hours. He/she was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) with a diagnosis of a myocardial infarction (MI) and coronary artery disease. Additional diagnoses for Mr./Ms. Sin include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and tendonitis of the left elbow. Mr./Ms. Sin has not had a physical examination in years. Prior to Mr./Ms. Sin’s MI, he/she was independent with his/her activities of daily living and worked as the owner of the bakery, Devilish Delights. He/he has been married for 18 years and has 15-year-old twin girls, Peace and Hope. Mr./Ms. Sin and his/her family live in a large two (2) storey home with multiple levels of stairs. He/she loves to golf, cook, and goes on vacation once per year. Mr./Ms. Sin wakes up early and comes home late. He/she drinks large amounts of coffee and smokes one (1) pack of cigarettes per day. Mr./Ms. Sin is a highly motivated and driven man/woman and expects everyone around him/her to be successful. Lately, Mr./Ms. Sin’s business has been booming and he/she has been spending little time with his/her family. Following his/her discharge from the hospital, Mr./Ms. Sin plans to return home and return to work quickly.
