B. Formula manual para el cálculo:
* Multiplique su peso en libras por 703.
* Divida esa respuesta por su estatura en pulgadas.
* Divida nuevamente esa respuesta por su estatura en pulgadas.
Por ejemplo: una mujer que pesa 270 libras y mide 68 pulgadas de estatura
270 x 703= 189,810 ÷ 68= 2,791.32 ÷ 68= 41.048= 41.05= 41.1 IMC
Tiene un índice de masa corporal de 41.1
C. Lee e identifica la tabla de masa corporal
1. ¿Cuáles son los valores del índice de masa corporal (IMC) de cada categoría tales como: bajo peso, saludable, sobrepeso, obeso, obesidad extrema.
2. Identifica el peso y estatura de 5 personas y calcula el IMC de cada uno. Debes presentar los cálculos de cada uno.
3. Debe indicar en que categoría se encuentra cada uno, si esta: bajo peso, saludable, sobre peso, obeso y obesidad extrema y explique porqué.
4. Identifica 3 Intervenciones de enfermería en las siguientes categoría del IMC tales como: bajo peso, saludable, sobre peso, obeso y obesidad extrema. Pueden usar NIC.
