Environmental and Human Health paper

Description

I WILL NEED SOMEONE THAT IS WILLING TO COMMUNICATE THROUGH THE MESSAGING BECAUSE THIS IS A SPREAD OUT ASSIGNMENT AND I WILL NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU FOR CERTAIN THINGS. YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO THE BOOK THAT I ATTACHED AS AN IMAGE IN ORDER TO WRITE THIS PAPER BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO BE USED AS ONE OF THE REFERENCES. PICK A TOPIC RELATED TO ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, BEFORE STARTING THE ESSAY I WILL HAVE TO GET THE TOPIC ACCEPTED BY MY PROFESSOR, WHICH IS WHY I WILL NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU OCCASIONALLY. THANK YOU!! I SET 20 DAYS TO DO ASSIGNMENT BUT I WILL NEED AT LEAST A TOPIC WITHIN 8-9 DAYS ON OCTOBER 5TH. NO PLAGIARISM!!!

There is a major writing assignment as required for upper division GE courses. Students will be
graded on their ability to understand and apply course concepts in the form of a research paper
consisting of at least 2,500 words on assigned/ approved topics (minimum 8 pages). Also minimum
of 4 references are needed in the paper. The paper must be APA style submitted via SafeAssign on
Blackboard by the required deadline and a hard copy turned in either to me during my office hours or
in the Department office by the due date. If submitting to office make sure they date stamp it.
<Further instructions below>

I will need to know what your Environmental Health paper topic is going to be by October 5th (No more than 2 students will be allowed to write on the same topic), so if you want to write on something get my approval before that topic is taken by someone. This will be first come basis for the topic. I will list a few topics (later in the semester) if you can’t find one. Look at the book to help you also decide what is covered in each chapter as there are plenty of topics in the book also.

I will create a DRAFT Safeassign spot to turn in your paper so you may see what % Plagiarism you have (must keep below 15%) this will allow you to make any changes at this time. The DRAFT Safeassign will be open till 1 week before the final paper is due then I will close this (as I do not want you to submit in the wrong place). Your actual paper will be submitted in the FINAL SAFEASSIGN area – which will open 1 week before the due date. Anything with higher plagiarism rate – I am required to turn you in to the department and you will get an F in the course (besides the possibility of been expelled from the University per policy).You have only 1 attempt to turn in the Draft and the FINAL- so try to make it as close to your final version as possible. I suggest you do the paper early so you can use this to your advantage and make any changes as necessary before submitting the final version. THIS DRAFT IS NOT GRADED THIS WILL CLOSE ON Nov. 9 AT 8A.M.ONLY THE FINAL VERSION WILL BE GRADED, WHICH IS DUE ON Nov. 16TH by 4p.m. and Safeassign will close at 4p.m. sharp – do not wait till last minute to submit (I have this issue every semester and it locks the student out – then grade drop occurs). I will need the final paper submitted through Safeassign by 4p.m., also and a hard copy turned in to me either in my office hours on Tuesday (before this deadline) or in the Public Health office by this date (make sure there is a date stamp and have the department put in my inbox). Any paper that is late is 10% grade drop automatically after 3 days don’t bother because it is an “F”.

Guideline: This is just a suggestion as to what you need to consider when doing your paper:

Introduction – Why you chose this topic (significance to you)? Why is this issue/topic a problem in society?

Body – What has been done to solve the problem, (local , national, or international)? Is it a global problem? Any legislation that is trying to deal with this issue? What are the consequences to the public? is this issue/problem getting better or worse and why? Your opinion on this issue.

Conclusion – Where do you think we might be in the future on this topic? What you think (personal opinion) can be done to make it better? Synopsis on the topic.

The above suggestions were to guide you as to what I expect to see in the paper at the bare minimum. You can expand and cover the topic as you please.

It has to be in APA format, minimum of 2,500 words (WHICH MEANS NO LESS THAN 8 PAGES) and at least 4-5 references. You may only use the book as 1 reference not for all 4-5 references. Any questions please email me or come see me during my office hours (with appointment first).
