For this assignment you are to
select a hospital for which you are familiar or have access to the needed
information. This hospital will be the focus of the case and SLP assignments.
For the module 1 case please submit a paper that:
- Identifies a problem in hospital administration.
- Describes the problem and discusses its importance.

Expectations
The objective of the capstone is to
conduct research on a relevant issue in health care management, to identify the
issues and implications, and to develop a plan to address this issue. Please
draw from your exposure to the various issues discussed in the previous courses
and from your professional experience. The capstone will give you the opportunity
to apply information and skills gained from previous courses (and work
experience) and to develop a plan to address a “real world”
healthcare issue and apply problem-solving skills to the issue, while using
knowledge you acquired in the course. You will be
expected to provide a scholarly basis for your response. Your opinions should
be justified with evidence from the literature. References should be cited
properly in the text of your essay, as well as at the end. Several scholarly
references should be cited for this assignment. Please limit your response to 3
pages maximum.
Length: This assignment should be at
least 3 pages (800 words) in length, excluding references.
References: At least two references
should be included from academic sources (e.g. peer-reviewed journal articles).
Organization: Subheadings should be
used to organize your paper.
Format: APA format is recommended.
While APA formatting of references is not a requirement, the references need to
be presented in order using a standard citation style. When material is copied
verbatim from external sources, it MUST be enclosed in quotes. The 3 or more references references
should be cited within the text and also listed at the end of the assignment in
the References section. See Syllabus page for more information on APA format.

PRECISION: Each question of the assignment is specifically addressed in the
