Student Learning Objective: Assess the costs and benefits of a selected new health technology
with application to current or future advanced nursing practice.
Assignment Instructions: Students assess the monetary and non-monetary benefits of a selected
new technology applicable to current or future advanced nursing practice. Examples of
technology include EHRs, telemedicine/telehealth, Point-of-Care technologies, remote
monitoring tools, and sensors or wearable technology. To complete this assessment, students
may pair with a member from their assigned group (must be assigned to the same faculty
member).
